Put this guy together today from my latest delivering Japan. Look, he’s officially 40k if you know where to look.

Had a play with Hexton Hills today and printed their sample hexes out at 75%. I have it a coat of Pro-Acryl Camo Green, a light drybrush of Vallejo Goblin Green and then picked out the road with Pro-Acryl Dark Orange Brown. Rocks were picked out with Pro-Acryl Warm Grey. For only four colours it really takes paint well. I’m thinking of doing a project with their new sets for fun. I decided to go for the ones with tabs for now and put a magnet in the middle of the tile instead of the rather excessiive 12 magnets per title that you need if you put them around the edges in the holes. I have some adesive ferrous sheets I can stick to some foam board and hang on the wall to keep it out of the way.

I’ve been printing out display shelves for minis over the last few weeks that have an A5 ferrous magnetic sheet on them so that my minis can stick to them. It’s handly for keeping my recently pained minis on my desk, and I’ve started printing more so that I can put completed combat patrols on them. Putting miniatures on display is something that I’ve always skipped before, but having a massive rack of everything I’ve done so far this year is really satisfying.
