Wazdakka Gutsmek was a model I couldn’t resist when it came out the other month.

August 1, 2026

Necromunda is the best sci-fi miniature range Games Workshop makes and the games look the best when you play it. The latest Necromunda release makes me sad because of this. The terrain is uninspired in the box and the whole thing feels like an anticlimax. It lacks any visual zing. I don’t know how well the game now plays but the old version was overly complicated and somehow charming because of it, but maybe this version is streamlined without breaking things? Only time will tell, the instant opinions on rules changes rarely give the full picture and it takes many games to know for sure.
