I’ve been printing more files from Printable Scenery as they’ve been releasing. I have a reasonable trench line now that I’ve failed to keep up to speed with on painting, but it does include both ends so it’s usable. I’ve also started on a gatehouse which is very much in the spirit of their other castle but is a bit more gothic. It’s compatible to the other bits I’ve printed before so all in all it’s a fun scenery set and, if I ever get around to it, photography backdrop. This is a picture of a random small but that’s still messy and needs more work. I’ll hit it with a varnish after I’m done because terrain needs to be robust and Wyldwood is a bit too shiny.
I just remembered I’ve got Leviathan Tyranids to build still. I’ve done most of them, or at least extras of them because of Combat Patrol magazine but somewhere there’s a Screamer Killer hiding in this room in a box.
The contents of the Ork Codex got announced and Burner Boys/Lootas are gone. Not the greatest kit but I have so much nostalgia for when the Lootas were the only real thing that did reliable ranged damage. Well, reliable for Orks of course. I’m also a bit disappointed about the two missing vehicles as I never grabbed them when I could, but maybe some second hand ones will come up or they’ll do a made to order for them at some point before I forget they ever existed or that I wanted them.
