More price rises from Games Workshop, which is only to be expected. If they sell out when they release things then they can charge more, and that will continue until they stop being able to. There’s some signs that they might be hitting that with things not selling out, but I can’t help but feel that if they made enough of certain things they wouldn’t sell out too early either and they’d make more by servicing the actual demand.

The interesting price reduction is the Ork Codex. £25 is kind of reasonable I think? Ish. For a physical book that will be obsolete probably before you get it in your hands as things will have been updated it’s a relic of a bygone age, but they’re also selling it as access to the updates for the faction across 11th in the app so that’s interesting with quarterly drops of rules and lore. They should be free updates of course with no sub because could I have a faction that just works maybe? Is that unreasonable? Still 25 doesn’t sound too painful to unlock a faction for 3 years, or nearly 6 years if you’re unlucky with update schedules and are early in one and really late in the next. Can I make a guess that Orks will be that way? You heard it here first.

I wonder if this quarterly thing is a way to be able to drop more models more often, at the moment you get the codex release and then nothing until the end where some factions will get some extras ahead of the new edition in that dead time when all the codex releases have happened. Or will it just be another way of describing the balance patches with a new detachment to try and balance a thing. Or mess it up more.
