I’m somewhat confused by what Wyrd’s business model will be going forwards. They have a LOT of new boxes to release that are old models in new packs with a few new models thrown in, most noticably seconds totems for every master. Each keyword now takes two boxes to get it all, which is fantastic and there’s no more boxes that have models for different keywords. The old boxes will dissapear soon enough, and I’ll probably end up buying duplicate models because of it but I don’t mind that. In fact the Captain Zipp box I have has a duplicate Gracie in it and I really don’t mind having another stab at painting that model in the future as I love it. But what do they do when all the boxes are released? Will it only be new keywords and generic models that anybody can use, or will they add to existing keywords with individual models again? I guess the first year is all re-releases so it doens’t matter too much yet.

Added Malifaux onto the site today. Unlike my previous site I think I’m going to stick to models I own and have painted. Or at least are in the stash with a plan for 4th edition.

It’s new Killteam day and so I built the thunderhammer Deathwatch guy. I’m glad that GW make the best plastics in the hobby because it means that the massive amount of mould lines on them are artisinal and not just because they’re a bit rubbish at making plastic models compared to everybody else.

The Malifaux 4e card PDFs are out so I’ve added them all to the site backend as PDFs. I need to add a Malifaux section too… Annoyingly they don’t seem to have done the cards for any of the alt sculpts so I might need to scan those as an when, or just handle that in another way.
